Blogging is tough. It's easier to to do crunches than it is to write something interesting.
I remain about 30lbs lighter than I was at the beginning of the year. Recently, we added a recumbant bike (Precor 846) to our arsenal of work-out tools. Took me a few weeks to accept it into the family. Now, though, I ride the Precor regularly for 45 to 60 minutes. And about 10 minutes into the work-out I start looking like Albert Brookes in Broadcast News (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7mp5u_broadcast-news-sweating-the-news_fun).

Since January 1st I've completed 70 work-out sessions, or a total of about 7,000 minutes of cardio. And I've dropped 38 lbs. 7,000 minutes / 38lbs means I am losing a pound about every 184 minutes. That's a little more than 3 hours of cardio per pound of weight loss. I've been told this isn't sustainable. No injuries. Something's working.

"I swallow a lot of aggression along with a lot of pizzas." - Ox (John Candy), Stripes, 1981.
My daughter, Theodora (6), asked me to make my New Year's Revolution to loose my "Big Belly". After 40 days of hard work-outs, I've experienced weight loss of 22 lbs, dropping from 300 to 278 lbs. Today is weigh-in and body fat testing day. Interested in the details about my fatness. The information will help me to shed the "fat boy" persona I've developed over the last 16 years.
